The Atlantic Garden in the Bowery and the Tivoli in St. Mark’s place were crowded to suffocation last night. The Kaiser Franz Grenadier Band, under the direction of Herr Saro, played at the former place and the Emperor William’s Cornet Quartet at the latter. The Germans gave both an ovation of the most enthusiastic kind. The bands played most of the selections which gave them such a prominence at the Boston Jubilee.”
