“Most of the music was well sung, and among the numbers deserving of especial mention were double songs and dances by Therese Wood and Lisa Weber; a quartet, sung to the air of Strauss’ waltz, ‘On the Beautiful Blue Danube,’ by the Misses Markham, Grattan, Howitt, and Weber, which was one of the best in the burlesque; and a topical song, sung by A. H. Sheldon, the Misses Howitt, Grattan and Weber, which was encored some half a dozen times.”
