“Miss Kellogg sang in ‘Trovatore’ yesterday afternoon at the Academy of Music, it being the last performance of the season. She was warmly applauded in her rendering of ‘Tacea la Notte’ and the succeeding cabaletta, and especially in the tower scene. Abrugnedo was in better voice than ever before since his arrival in this country. It would have been fortunate for the management had this artist been in as good voice a month or two ago. During the season Miss Kellogg has sung in twenty-two performances, in ten of which she was the sole prima donna. The company appear in Philadelphia to-morrow evening in a two weeks’ engagement.”
