“…Alex Davis, whose performances have already been reviewed by our Boston correspondent, gave complete satisfaction. He is an excellent baritone vocalist and a good ventriloquist. The Waite Family, vocalists, failed to give satisfaction. Mr. Harry Waite, on Monday evening, sang a song which was rather displeasing, to put it mildly. The performances of the ladies were not up to the standard, and the services of the family were dispensed with after Tuesday evening, Mr. Hart having canceled their contract. Lester and Allen in songs-and-dances; serio-comic songs by Mrs. John Wilde, the Foy Sisters in their musical specialties…”
