Review: New York Post, 28 November 1873, 4.

“A large audience attended the concert of the Yale Glee Club, at Association Hall, on Wednesday evening. The programme was made up of the college songs and the popular airs of the day with new adaptations. Almost every piece was encored, and the entire entertainment gave great satisfaction. The club may boast of several fine voices, notably that of the bass soloist, who is an actor as well as a singer. The club will delight their friends with another entertainment at the same place on Saturday afternoon, when they will present an entirely new programme.”
