In Peep behind the scenes, Crayton “with Mr. Mass sang a burlesque operatic scena, which elicited liberal applause and incited an encore. Miss Creyton [sic] has a good figure, a pleasant countenance, and dresses tastily. Both she and Mr. Mass have good voices, and evinced a fair knowledge of music…Miss Anges Sutherland sang fresh serio-comic songs…Billy Carter sang songs on the topics of the day, with banjo accompaniment, introducing ‘Simon Johnson’s Bail.’” Continues on with list of smaller sketches.
