“In the evening [Nilsson] sang at the Union League Theatre at a charity concert given under the auspices of some up-town ladies. At this concert a number of the artists of the Academy of Music also took part, among them Capoul and Maurel. Madame Nilsson sang a ballad in English in addition to selections of the Italian school.”
