“Each evening the comedy will be supplemented by Mr. Lingard’s new series of his famous sketches, including grand impersonations of the world’s celebrities.” Lists those celebrities.
Long review; little mention of music. “…After the conclusion of the drama, W. Horace Lingard performed a number of his excellent musical sketches, introducing some instantaneous changes in the presence of the audience, by means of wigs and beards placed upon tables at either side of the stage. Among these the operatic tenor and basso were very favorably received, and his singing in those voices was highly creditable. His living portraits of distinguished individuals met with applause.”
