“At Robinson Hall last night, a number of resident artists of talent gave a concert in aid of one of our city charities. Mrs. Fox, the prima donna of the evening, was suffering from a cold, but creditably undertook and cleverly sang the selections allotted to her on the programme. Signora Azzema Cori, a contralto of merit, added greatly to the interest of the evening’s entertainment. Among the other vocalists were Mr. A. Macdonnell and Mr. Barthelot [sic], the well-known tenors. Signor Agramonte conducted.”
