The head-quarters of the numerous societies and clubs were extensively decorated with Christmas trees and pine foliage… The Armenia Vocal Society engaged in a Christmas fête at the Columbia Garden, in Greenwich avenue, including a musical and dramatic entertainment and a distribution of prizes.”
