“Signor F. Padovani, the violin soloist of Daly’s Fifth Avenue Theatre, had a farewell benefit concert last night at Steinway Hall, which was very slimly attended. He was assisted by Miss Mendes, Mrs. Padovani and five other artists, and played Alard’s fantasia on ‘Rigoletto.’”
