“Laura Keene’s Theater—Mr. John Duff (late Crook & Duff), who purchased this theater some months ago, is now in possession, and has commenced refitting and redecorating it, with a view, if possible, of making it the handsomest theater in town. It will be reopened under the direction of Mrs. John Wood, with Mr. Charles Walcott as stage manager. The time for the reopening has not yet been decided on.”
