“[C]ontinues to attract very full houses every night.  On Saturday afternoon last we took a ‘look in’ to the Matinee, and found the house very crowded.  There was quite a large sprinkling of ladies present, who seemed to enjoy the eccentricities of Charley White, Bob Hart, Johnny Wild, and Jas. Wambold.   Tony Pastor is a great favorite with the ladies, for we observed quite a number applauding and bringing him out for a fourth time.”
