“Messrs. Birch, Wambold, Backus, and their jovial crew of San Francisco Minstrels continue to give their excellent entertainment, in the vein of Negro Minstrelsy at the new San Francisco Minstrel Hall. It opened brightly, and it has prospered steadily. Mirth has been diffused in liberal abundance; all the dyspeptics in the neighborhood of Twenty-ninth st. and Broadway have been cured; and it is whispered that all the doctors in that region will migrate to a sadder clime.”
