“Geneviève de Brabant was given at this house last night by Miss Emily Soldene and her merry opera bouffers. The audience was large, notwithstanding the impression which had gone abroad that there would be no performance, in consequence of the indisposition of Miss Soldene. The lady had, however, completely rallied last night and played her part with her usual dash and spirit. She was in excellent voice and was well supported by the members of the company.”
