“On Tuesday, Paul Falk, the manager of the Tivoli Garden, who has been so frequently arrested for violating the Sunday law, was arraigned in the Court of Oyer and Terminer upon one of the numerous indictments found against him. He pleaded guilty and promised not to give theatrical or variety performances again while the present law remained in force. He made some explanations in mitigation of punishment, and craved the mercy of the Court, and in consideration thereof he was punished by fine only--$250—which he paid, and left the court.”
