“The irrepressible and fascinating ‘Daughter of Madame Angot’ again appeared last evening at the Lyceum Theatre, where she was greeted with great warmth. The excellent bit of foolery will be given for the last time by the Soldene troupe to-night. We took occasion when they first produced the work to praise the several performers for their appreciation of its comic spirit and their tuneful interpretation of its melodies Last evening everything was in excellent trim, and the piece went off with acceptable vivacity. Miss Soldene was cheered for everything she did as Mlle. Lange, and Miss Robson received floral trophies and warm applause for her delightful performance of the child of the market, while the other players were equally successful.”
