For the last week, there were successful performances of the Martinetti and Marzetti company on the stage of this theater.  Almost all the better members of Ravel’s troupe [that is, Jean Ravel & Family] belong to this company, which performs pantomime and ballet most excellently.  On Saturday we saw the ballet, “The Canteen Proprietor” and the pantomime, “Raoul, or The Magic Star.”  These were executed with all the attendant brilliance and they received plenty of applause.  Also, the Roman acts, in which the Brothers Martinetti displayed extraordinary dexterity and strength, and the productions of young Paul and Mlle. Marietta Zanfretta on the tightrope were extraordinarily pleasing.  Today there are two new pieces in the repertoire.
