Sacred Concerts

“The Tivoli Theatre, located in Eighth street, east of Third avenue, was densely crowded last evening by an assemblage of both sexes, who listened to the music and watched the performances with great interest. About 3,300 persons attended the Sunday afternoon and evening performances, which consisted of short acts, dialogues of a harmless nature, duets and solos by the male and female performers, and acts on the double and single trapeze.”
