About 250 men of the Irish Brigade met at City Hall at noon.  “They were also joined by Dodworth’s Band, after which, about 12 ¼ o’clock, they marched up Broadway to Fourteenth-street, and thence to Irving Hall. . . .
During the entertainment an Irish song was given by Barney Williams to the tune of the ‘Bold Soldier Boy.’”
