“Tuesday evening’s concert benefitting Mr. Mangold given by the singing societies, ‘Euphonia,’ ‘Melomanen,’ and ‘Social,’ was well attended. A small, but good orchestra played several opera pieces and potpourris; the singing clubs performed several choruses, which earned them much applause.”
