“Important comments:

1)   Only one kind of killing will be utilized: shooting

2)   In order to avoid the kind of congestion we had at the first performance, we state with sincere assurance that the playwright will not cancel the play [before the performance].

3)   Hoarseness and other ‘—nesses’ won’t occur because no one from the bygone German opera is participating.

4)   Must I dispel the rumor that I was successful in getting ‘Arion’ to expand my chorus?  The main reason the negotiations fell apart was that the height of my grocer’s-sized stage could not be reconciled with the ‘high level of the Arion Singing Club’ and the ‘magnitude’ of one of the members.”
