“Thousands of people continue to patronize the ‘House that Jack Built,’ at the Old Bowery Theatre.  It is one of the most successful pantomimes ever produced anywhere, which is saying a great deal, we know, but which is borne out by the facts.  Pantomime and making faces is G.L. Fox’s forte, and he just eclipses himself in the new pantomime, while he is most ably supported by Tony Denier, C.K. Fox, and M’lle Martinetti in the other parts.  Another matinee was given on Saturday last.”
