“As a benefit for the beloved soubrette of our Stadttheater stage three cute plays will be presented: ‘The Knight of the Ladies,’ comedy by Hiltl, Kalisch’s vaudeville, ‘A Berliner in Vienna,’ and Angely’s ‘Seven Girls in Uniform.’ In addition, an entr’acte ballet will be performed. In any case, all that is enough to fill the house this evening.”
“As a benefit for Mrs. von Hedemann three small plays of the comedic genre were performed. We just had the opportunity to be present for the first one, ‘The Ladies’ Knight,’ a nice little bluette, which is well suited for a half hour’s pleasant entertainment. The little play, as well as the two others, were received with plenty of applause, even though the presentation, namely that which concerned the interaction, left much to be desired. This evening, the three plays will be repeated. Yesterday, the house was over-filled.”
