Long plot synopsis. “Edwin Booth commenced his first engagement at Niblo’s on the 28th ult., opening in Tom Taylor’s drama of ‘The Fools Revenge.’ The story is one with which we have had a previous acquaintance in the opera of ‘Rigoletto. . .This drama affords Mr. Booth excellent opportunity for the display of his dramatic powers. . .The house was crowded to suffocation on Monday evening; camp stool were placed in every available spot in the parquet and parquet circle, and the upper part of the house was crowded full.”
