The concert in the Park yesterday was very well attended, and the drive presented a perfect panorama of moving vehicles and equestrians. In the vicinity of the music temple the pedestrians congregated in large numbers, while the lovers of more rural felicity amused themselves with strolls along the Ramble or with a voyage upon the lake. The weather was all that could be drsired, and was even more pleasant than on the preceding Saturday.
It was expected that the Casino would have been opened at the same time as the music season; but although two concerts have passed it is not ready yet. There must be an obstinate bitch somewhere; for it was announced as nearly complete several weeks since."
