The summer festivals sponsored by various associations have not been as frequent as last year. One of the highlights of the season so far was the Summer Night’s Festival of the Liederkrantz that took place last Thursday. The German Liederkranz is the largest of all choirs, and almost all members were at Jones’ Wood for the festival. The attendance could also be credited to the mild temperatures that day.
