“The festival of the Ascension was observed yesterday morning at Trinity Church, which was thronged to overflowing. The ceremonies were impressive and were participated in by the clergy from many of the other Episcopal Churches. Rev. Dr. Higble delivered the sermon. At the close, the Holy Communion was administered, a large number partaking of the sacrament. The music during the ceremonies was of unusual excellence.”
