“Campbell’s Minstrels is a fixed institution with the East siders, and the programme which is changed every week seems to please the habitués of that establishment, judging from the hearty approval manifested by the audience each night.  Mr. W. S. Budworth was sick last week, and his end was kept up by Mr. J. H. Clifford.  The matinees on Saturday are largely attended by ladies and children, when equally as good a performance is given as in the evening.”
