“A grand vocal and instrumental concert has been tendered as a compliment to Mr. Oscanyan, the celebrated Oriental lecturer, by a number of distinguished artists and citizens generally. . . . We have no doubt that the intended compliment will be a substantial one.  Indeed, if the Sigma Phi Literary Club, of which Mr. Oscanyan is a favorite member, should attend as we are informed they will do, the house will be filled to overflowing leaving room for others.”
