“Unfortunately, the concert was not well attended. Noll’s band played decently. The highlight of the concert was the ‘Sailors’ Chorus’ from Meyerbeer’s [sic] Der Fliegende Holländer, which was repeated. Abt’s Ruf zur Jagd and Waldes Echo were encored as well. The Soldier Song from La Fille du Régiment was not very confidently performed.”
