Announcement: New York Clipper, 02 December 1865, 270.

Wood’s Minstrels announce the burlesque of the ‘Managers’ Triumph’ which has proved so successful, for one week longer, when it will be withdrawn for the new sketch called a ‘Fair Fenian Fight for Freedom’ which is said to be gotten up in good style, with new scenery, etc., and is spoken of by one who ought to know as a well written piece.  That clever act called ‘Talent Appreciated’ is on the bills this week, with Purdy and Budworth as the principals.  Budworth will do his imitation of Brignoli and other celebrities.  Business continues good at this popular hall of minstrelsy.”
