Five Points House of Industry: Christmas Caroling

“Christmas at the five points House of Industry, 158 Worth street.—The kind church which has for so many years provided a Feast and Tree and Christmas for the children at the House of Industry, repeat it this year on Monday, at 112 A.M.  There will be services in the new Chapel, consisting in part of Christmas Carols, physical exercises, with short addresses [sic]. At 2 o’clock the children will dine in the large hall, where there will be ample room for a thousand spectators. Immediately after dinner the gifts will be distributed from the Tree.”
