Review: New York Herald, 17 June 1865, 4.

“The attendance was quite large, and the exercises were very interesting. . . .

‘Eucleians’ Song,’ composed by Mr. George D. Baker, one of the graduates of the society, was sung by the members in a very fine style. . . .  [Includes two verses of the song.]

Next was sung Lauriger Horatius, from Horace, by the whole company, with very fine effect. . . .

The following song, by T. Burnet, one of the members of the society, was then sung.”
