Three to four thousand people were present. The drummer’s organization is likely to become a permanent institution. At nine p.m. “The Tattoo” was performed, the drummers distributing themselves in five places throughout the park, with a crowd surging between them for an hour. Afterwards, there was dancing for “the remainder of the night.”
