Music not mentioned.  “At every one of his performances this skilful magician produces some new tricks and effects. He has carried the old hat trick to a stage of development which it has never before reached, and produces from an ordinary ‘beaver’ the recent assortment of articles, prominent among them a dozen of lighted paper lanterns. The most graceful of his performances is, however, his ‘Miser’ delineation—in which he finds money—hard specie—in the air and gathers it from the most apparently unproductive localities. The drum trick which Heller used here so successfully, Hermann explains so that the audience can thoroughly understand how it is done, the ingenious mechanism being exposed to view. Mr. Hermann has associated with him Mr. Hazleman, an inventor of intelligence and skill, and the first deviser of the drum trick.”
