     The Strike of the Musicians. Yesterday afternoon a scarcely attended meeting of the Musical Protective Union took place at the Germania Assembly Rooms. Mr. Downing reported that the delegates’ committee managed to have the Musical Union accepted as a member of the “Arbeiter Bund.” He calls for all musicians to actively participate in the labor demonstration at the Cooper Institute next Monday if they are free.
