“Clubs are to be trumps at the San Francisco Minstrels this week, by which some startling effects will be produced, showing the wonderful properties of Kehoe’s Indian Clubs. The interest of the act might be greatly enhanced by the engagements of the orator and clubbist Kehoe himself. He is a character in the city and its go-ahead representative men.”
“The San Francisco Minstrels experienced, as did all places of amusement last week, a slight falling off in the attendance. This seldom occurs at this house, as they are generally very crowded. In consequence of an affection of the throat, Mr. Wambold was prevented from singing all last week. This is a great loss to the frequenters of this Hall, as Mr. W.’s singing is one of the great features of this establishment.”
