“That ‘music hath charms’ was abundantly proved yesterday by the respectable audience—both in numbers and appearance—which assembled on the Mall, at the Park, to listen to the music furnished by Dodworth’s Band…There are but a few more weeks remaining the present season [sic] when open air concerts can be enjoyed; and, from present appearances, our citizens seem determined to enjoy them to the utmost.”
