“There’s no mistake about the success of the American Theatre, for it is just one jam every night. Among the latest celebrities engaged are Senorita Jouvetta [sic], Spanish danseuse, and Tim Hayes, the cloggist. The regular company . . . however, are fully equal to many star performers in music hall entertainments, comprising, among others, the pretty  Lizzie Schultze, who has been doing Don Juan; Charlie White, who has been doing the black business; Jim Wambold, Ethiopian delineator, bird warbler, etc. They give a most capital show.”
