“Quite a number of novelties were presented to the patrons of 444 last week.  Charley White’s sketch of ‘The Streets of New York,’ after the ‘Mose’ style, was very laughable. . . . Annie Bordwell joined the company last week.  In her selections of song she was well received and deservedly applauded.  She is a good vocalist.  The double song and dance by Thompson and Kerns is as popular as ever.  Billy Holmes sang a new song on the Volunteer Firemen, which was well liked.  The farce of ‘What Is to Become of us All?’ concluded the performance, but it is a little too much on the ‘broad’ order to be further noticed.”
