     Includes a description of the ride through the park and how to secure tickets.  “Two hundred of the maimed soldiers at the Central Park Hospital will be taken from that institution on the morning of the Fourth in order to give them a chance of enjoying the glorious anniversary. . . . After the procession passes, they will be taken to the City Assembly Rooms. . . . Robertson’s fine band and Union Glee Club will furnish the necessary music, while the Rose Hill ladies will dispense to the soldiers the ice cream, fruit, &c.”

     Includes a lengthy description of the festivities.  “At the conclusion of the Colonel’s remarks the Union Glee Club, which was present, favored the company with some of their patriotic airs.  Robertson’s brass band was also in attendance, which contributed not a little to the entertainment.”
