“Dan Bryant and his well-known troupe of Ethiopians are giving a very funny entertainment, including, among other novelties, an exhibition of large elephant, of India-rubber complexion, with which the exhibitor goes through a series of astounding performances. It is a very laughable act, and never fails to bring down the house, if not the elephant. The usual variety of singing, dancing, eccentricities, etc., will be interspersed throughout the programme.”
