     The owners of liabilities (statements) of the Liederkranz had a meeting at the Liederkranz Hall. W. Steinway was the president. The finances of the union are in very good shape: the treasury holds $64,435; the debts are $44,150, meaning the net income is approximately $20,000. The union has 830 members, 52 of which are singers.

     From May 1st on, the restaurant will only be open for members and guests of members. Elected financial trustees are M. Lachenmeier, E. Steiger, G. D. Maas, L. Gerner, F. W. Stallknecht, Geo. Rembach, N. Windmüller, L. Kämmerer, L. Burger, C. Haufelt, C. Hensel, H. Stein and L. A. Grasse as treasurer.
