Article on Härting and Methua's forthcoming engagement at Wood's Theatre

     Mr. Härting and Methua will begin German performances at the earlier Wood’s Theatre on Broadway in September. Most ensemble members are already hired. Härting and Methua hope to also engage Mr. Dawison, Friedrich Haase and Mrs. von Bärndorf. Dawison writes in a letter to us he is definitely planning to come. He will be surprised to see some theaters of the West being as small as a doll house. In order for the new artists to have a lucrative engagement here, more advertising has to be done to attract Americans into the theaters. And it better be elegant theaters which will be hard to find.
