The building of the Steinway Hall is moving forward swiftly and the venue is expected to open in December. The interior will leave nothing to wish for regarding comfort and elegance. The lighting will be imported from London and will use a system not known here yet. Certainly this is an expensive enterprise. The seats for the audience will be wider, more comfortable and cooler (ventilation system?) like no other in New York. The cost for the construction and interior are approximately $125,000.
