“‘Mrs. Smith’ did not go off smoothly; neither was it very amusing or at all interesting in its action,” although it attracted “a very crowded and fashionable audience.”  In “Cinderella” Jennie and Irene Worrell played Dandini and Cinderella, Sophie played the Prince, and Leffingwell played Clorinda. “Leffingwell’s make up and acting of Clorinda was equal to anything in that line we have yet witnessed in this city. . . . Irene’s Cinderella was one of that lady’s best performances.”
