Miss Dziuba’s appearance and voice are very pleasant and the audience received her warmly. In the other two comedy pieces, the ensemble’s performance and the harmony among the actors are noteworthy.

Review: New-Yorker Staats-Zeitung und Herold, 09 September 1866, 4.

“Ms. Dziuba possesses a pleasant, full voice and she sang the pieces in “Das Versprechen hinter’m Herd” and an additional song with much success. Unfortunately she was the only good thing about the last mentioned theater piece. The actors were incapable of speaking in the dialect required by the script, and the costumes were too glamorous for the simplicity of villagers.
