“New-York Assembly Rooms.—Gen. Ferrero has erected and furnished, at great expense and with marvelous taste, an immense public hall on Broadway, between Twenty-eighth and Twenty-ninth streets, designed for balls, concerts and public entertainments generally. The hall is 110x50 feet in dimensions, and will be ready for operations on the 1st of November, when it will be inaugurated by a grand sociable.”
