“We weren’t able to attend Saturday evening’s concert at Dodworth Hall, for the benefit of the French Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. We regret that even more because we’re told that it was a great success. The choruses in particular were sung with rare togetherness and precision by the young people; the piano pieces were equally very well done; and two romances sung by Mme Caroni were strongly applauded.”
